For groups over 20, assistant guides are provided to split the group into manageable sub-groups at sites. The vehicle fleet is scaled to group size: minivans (10-15), mid-size coaches (20-30), or full-size coaches (30-50). All vehicles have air conditioning, PA systems, and coolers with water.

Per-person rates decrease as group size increases due to shared vehicle and guide costs. The Group Coordinator, assistant guides, and professional photography are included at no extra cost for all group sizes. Rooming: twin-share rooms are standard (same-gender or couples). Single room supplements: $295 for the tour. Triple-share rooms receive a 10% discount per person. Children 5-11 receive 30% discount. Children under 5 are free (sharing parents room). A non-refundable group deposit of $500 holds the reservation for 30 days.
March through May and September through November offer ideal temperatures (65-80 degrees Fahrenheit) for group travel. Summer (June-August) is hot (85-100 degrees Fahrenheit) but manageable with air conditioning. Winter (December-February) is mild (50-65 degrees Fahrenheit) and offers the best group availability (hotels and sites are less crowded). Book 60-90 days in advance for groups over 20 to secure room blocks and vehicle availability.
A $500 non-refundable group deposit holds the reservation for 30 days. A 25% deposit (minus the group deposit) confirms the booking. Balance due 45 days before departure. Cancellations more than 90 days before receive full refund minus $100 processing fee. Cancellations 45-90 days before receive 50% refund. Cancellations less than 45 days are non-refundable but transferable to another group. Individual cancellations within a group receive a credit valid for 12 months. No-shows charged in full. Travel insurance is mandatory for all group members. Jordan Journey reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to group size changes or operational factors.
This tour is designed for inclusivity within groups. All hotels have elevators and accessible rooms. The Petra main trail is accessible to travelers with limited mobility (wheelchair assistance available). The Dead Sea resort provides accessible beach wheelchairs. The Wadi Rum camp can accommodate wheelchair users with advance notice. Dietary accommodations are available for all restrictions. The rooming list is finalized 30 days before departure. Changes after this date may incur hotel charges.
Either. Jordan Journey offers two payment models: (1) Group Leader Collects: the leader collects all payments and submits a single payment to us. (2) Individual Payments: each traveler pays directly through our online portal using a unique group code. Both models are secure and tracked by your Group Coordinator. Payment plans (monthly installments) are available for groups booking 6+ months in advance.
Group size changes are common and manageable. Adding travelers: usually possible until 30 days before departure (subject to hotel and vehicle availability). Removing travelers: refunds follow our cancellation policy. The per-person rate is adjusted based on the final group size. Your Group Coordinator tracks all changes and updates the rooming list, vehicle allocation, and pricing accordingly.
