Jordan Journey is a licensed inbound tour operator and Destination Management Company (DMC) headquartered in Amman, Jordan. We design and operate private, tailor-made journeys throughout Jordan, bringing transportation, licensed guides, accommodations, experiences, and on-the-ground support together in one coordinated travel plan.
We do more than arrange tours. We shape each journey around the traveler – the route, pace, comfort level, interests, and practical details – using local knowledge and direct coordination from arrival to departure.
Founded in Amman in 2018 by Motasem Al-Rowad, Jordan Journey was built to make private travel in Jordan more personal, precise, and easier to manage from one trusted local point of contact.

Before Jordan Journey existed, Motasem was the person friends called when they visited Jordan. He knew which guide made Roman history feel alive at Jerash. He knew the family in Petra that still cooked zarb underground the old way. He knew the trail to the Monastery that silenced the morning crowds.
He was doing what the finest travel designers do — not selling, but connecting. Connecting people to places through relationships built over years of presence, patience, and genuine curiosity.
In 2018, he formalized what had always been instinctive. Jordan Journey was born in Amman as an inbound tour operator and DMC focused on private, tailor-made travel – connecting thoughtful itinerary design with dependable local operations.
PHILOSOPHY
Jordan is more than a list of landmarks. The most memorable journeys are shaped by timing, context, local knowledge, and the people you meet along the way.
Our role is to create a private itinerary that lets travelers experience Jordan at the right pace, with the right experts, and with the operational details handled carefully. Thoughtful travel is not about seeing less. It is about creating enough space to understand what you are seeing.

Every itinerary begins with a conversation, not a template. We first understand the travelers, dates, pace, priorities, and preferred comfort level, then build the route and services around them.

We plan around opening hours, driving times, seasonality, site flow, and traveler energy. Early starts and carefully sequenced days are used where appropriate to reduce friction and avoid unnecessary crowding.

If Basam shapes the promise, I ensure it is kept. I manage the operational details of your journey: driver confirmations, guide coordination, hotel logistics, flight tracking, and the last-minute changes that can make a good trip exceptional.
