Simple cancellation, change, refund, and force-majeure terms for Jordan Journey bookings.
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Fair, Clear, and Written in Advance
This policy is the general Jordan Journey cancellation framework. Your confirmed proposal may contain supplier-specific or journey-specific terms, especially for flights, special events, premium camps, private aviation, non-refundable hotels, permits, or peak-season bookings. Those written terms will apply where they are more specific.
Deposit and Confirmation
A 50% deposit normally secures the journey unless your proposal states otherwise. No booking is final until the required payment is received and Jordan Journey issues written confirmation.
How to Cancel
Cancellations must be sent in writing to info@jordanjourney.com. The effective cancellation date is the date Jordan Journey receives the written request.
30 Days or More Before Departure
Payments are generally refundable when cancellation is received 30 days or more before departure, less any non-refundable third-party costs already committed and any clearly disclosed supplier fees.
15–29 Days Before Departure
Up to 50% of the journey price is generally refundable, less non-refundable third-party costs and supplier charges already incurred.
Less Than 15 Days Before Departure
Payments are generally non-refundable because hotels, guides, transport, permits, and experiences are normally fully committed by this stage.
Date or Itinerary Changes
We will try to accommodate requested changes. Jordan Journey does not normally charge an administration penalty for changes requested at least 14 days before departure, but price differences, supplier fees, non-refundable costs, and availability changes may still apply.
No-Show, Late Arrival, or Unused Services
No refund is normally available for no-shows, late arrival, early departure, missed services, or voluntarily unused accommodation, transport, activities, or meals.
Cancellation by Jordan Journey
If Jordan Journey must cancel a confirmed service for reasons within its reasonable control, we will offer an appropriate alternative, credit, or refund for the affected service. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as separate flights or personal arrangements not booked through us.
Force Majeure and Events Beyond Control
Weather, natural events, war, civil unrest, epidemics, border restrictions, government action, site closures, strikes, transport disruption, or other events beyond reasonable control may require changes, postponement, credit, or cancellation. Refunds in these cases depend on recoverable amounts from suppliers.
Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are normally returned using the original payment method where possible. Processing time may depend on banks, card networks, payment providers, currency conversion, and supplier recovery.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, interruption, medical care, evacuation, baggage, delays, and circumstances that may not be refundable under this policy.
