FAQ
Do you drop off inside the protected area?
No private vehicle may enter the Wadi Rum protected area - this rule is enforced at the checkpoint. We drop you at the Visitor Center, where your camp's 4x4 collects you. This is standard for all Wadi Rum visitors.
What time should we leave Amman?
For a full evening in the desert, depart Amman between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. Most camps offer sunset activities - arriving by 15:00–16:00 gives you time to settle and watch the sunset from the dunes.
